TAGMA – 11th Die & Mold India International Exhibition | Additive Manufacturing

Objectifying Manufacturing for the 21st century

With the inclusion of Technological Advancements in the interwebs such as IoT, Big Data, AI, and BlockChain, we at Objectify Technologies Pvt. Ltd. are testing the turf with the more physical ramification and helping people re-think Manufacturing and Mould making. Additive Manufacturing, Unconventional, yet it’s our motto to make it Conventional in the next decade. Since actions speak louder than words, we are privileged to showcase our abilities in the upcoming International Die Mould Expo TAGMA, which is to be held in Mumbai Convention Center, from the 11th to the 14th of April 2018.

It will be an honor for us if you can pay a visit as we will provide some lesser-known insights on the world of Additive Manufacturing and 3D printing and its implications in the Mould and Die Casting Industry.

TAGMA AND OBJECTIFY TECHNOLOGIES:-

The proliferation of Indian manufacturing units has been steadily increasing since the ideology of ‘Make in India’ came into play. As of today, China has been the leading exporter of manufactured goods, whereas India is ranked at the 17th spot. Why this discrepancy? The leading cause is the lack of leapfrogging to the next-gen of manufacturing. The world around us is constantly changing for the better, technologically reforming its framework as you read this. The awareness of Industrial Technologies and Equipment is still to come forth, as a number of industrialists are unaware of the International standards.

The building block of all machines, tools, equipment, and objects is Die and Moulds. Without which it is impossible to manufacture on a large scale. To ensure there is a streamline in manufacturing the requirement of Dies and Moulds are never-ending.

FACTORS DRIVING DEMAND FOR DIE AND MOULD

  1. Affordability
  2. Reliability

As the demand increases for manufactured goods made in India, the cost of production plays a crucial role in determining the offer price to the end-user. Hence, the tool life of the Die and Moulds is in question. Then there comes the question of reliability, “Can this Die to produce X number of products in Y hours without fail?” To be honest, it’s not a numbers game, it’s the technology used to make these Dies and Moulds that should be looked into, the hardness, the cooling time, the throughput, and the warpage. Given the current scenario, traditional manufacturing doesn’t really justify the answers. Additive Manufacturing (popularly known as 3D Printing) is the next big thing. Proven to be more resilient, profitable, reliable, and eco-friendly.

To be in the race of top-notch Manufacturers across the globe, it is time we set aside our fixation of the conventional way of manufacturing and look into other areas of opportunities. I agree some manufactures will be at crossroads and might need to rethink the production cycle in their shop floors, but in the long run, it’s worth it.

By far the only challenge is the Indian mentality of resistance to change. Change is an eerie feeling and not something the current Indian mindset can contemplate with. But sooner or later things change and people adapt. For manufacturers it is necessary to foresee the future at least in statistical data as well as, get to know the industrialists across the globe and how they are adopting Additive Manufacturing, leading to an increase in production and profits.

DIE MOULD INDIA AND OBJECTIFY:-

Die Mould India (DMI) is the only platform as of now to showcase the next step of manufacturing. With the futuristic approach, more than 250 companies are participating to introduce the world of possibilities. We at Objectify Technologies Private Limited are a part of this prestigious event, here to showcase the endless opportunities with Additive Manufacturing. With our motto to make unconventional manufacturing, conventional. Since action speaks louder than words, we are here to show the world how Additive Manufacturing (3D Printing) can increase the production rate while decreasing the cost of production. Die and Moulds prepared with conformal cooling channels can easily generate profits manifolds. And we want to use Die Mould India as a platform to spread awareness.

OUR TECHNOLOGIES INCLUDES, BUT ARE NOT EXCLUSIVE TO:-

Conformal CoolingVacuum Casting, DMLS (Direct Metal Laser Sintering), SLS (Selective Laser Sintering), SLA (Stereolithography), Rapid Prototyping, Small Batch Production, CNC machining, Design for Additive Manufacturing, Quality/Inspection, Heat Treatment, Post-processing, and a lot more.

OUR EQUIPMENT:-

EOS P396, EOS P1102x EOS M290, ProJet 6000 HD, Mazak VARIAXIS j-500/5x, BMV 45+, Hexagonal CMM, Heat Treatment, Vacuum Casting Setup, and other shop floor equipment.

A little bit about TAGMA – 2018

  • Established in the year 1990.
  • 541 entities comprising most leading Indian tool rooms and many with ISO 9001 certification enrolled as members.
  • TAGMA supported by the Confederation of Engineering Industry, since its inception has succeeded in getting good co-operation with the Govt. on various issues which were burdening the tooling industry, with suitable amendments during budgeting every year, like Tool Steel / Machine Tools Import under OGL in 1990-93 Import Policy.
